Kid

Kid, You don’t really know that you want this You are too young and naive Children aren’t meant to have political thoughts You can’t do this to yourself Kid, If you do this you will be ridiculed and mocked Just accept your role and be a good girl Play your part and be the damsel in distress for your prince You can’t be the hero Kid, Just kiss the boy and be a girl Play the role of the wife Have children of your own You must wear this mask and play this role Kid, Be quiet and don’t question why Society doesn’t like kids like you That is why you must hide Be careful, don’t let anyone see this side of you Parents, I just want to express myself Why can’t you accept me? I’ve always been like this I can’t be quiet! Society needs to accept “kids” like me Our generation is the future I must do this! ...It might help another kid like me...
