A soft melody drifted from the keyboard A catchy tune with rhythm and rhyme she tickled the keys as she played each chord A song flowed from her fingertips so sublime A saxophone player joined in and the two instruments entered a soulful sphere, Beautiful rhythms in a musical spin A soothing melody to hear I closed my eyes as the music flowed I anticipated each note and refrain, In this duet of melodic gold, I wanted to hear it again and again 3-11-2023 Writing Challenge - 'K' Words - Poetry Contest Constance La France
