Key of Hope

Key of hope

Holding key of hope
Is to know each night breaks to dawn new
To believe winter drifts to spring
By rotating locks of anxious minds
To open doors for happiness skies
And hammer emotions fossilized
Cracking crust of despair to bloom euphoric flowers
Rattling life's pieces to reset
Opening gate of inspiration's home
To feel moon and sun enclosed in hutch
Box of dewy dreams awaits divine touch
Grasping key of hope echoes song of lost confidence
In sadness forest heart no longer does roam

As is often said, Purbasha, it is always darkest just before dawn and keeping hope in our hearts is the "key" to finding joy again. Congratulations on your win. There were many wonderful entries to this contest and nearly all of them were difficult to rank. Best wishes, Carolyn
