Kettle, Pond, Lake

Kettle, Pond, Lake The kettle is boiling, It’s cold outside, Making myself warm, By drinking some tea. I look through the window, I see the ducks, They swim in the pond, Aren’t they cold? I decided to go out for a walk, Discovering wonderful nature, I sit beside the lake, Thinking of all the wonderful things the world has done.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Nicely done, Rachel, feeling cold is not in my nature being old... Hugs

For a moment I thought you just may be a neighbor. There`s a Kettle pond 2 miles from my home in Vt. Then I read the title again more carefully… Well done.
