Keeping My Soul

Sometimes my soul seems far away
Too strange to imagine
It is too silent to my ear

It is often always near
It is too familiar to forget
Sometimes too loud to ignore

Losing my soul
Selling my soul
It would cost me the purpose of life
Gaining the world is not worth the price

I always talk to myself
Just to try to hear my soul
I try to stay close to my soul
To make sure I don’t lose my soul

Hello Michelo Mweetwa, A beautiful poem. Nothing wrong to talk to yourself, as long as you don't do it in public. I do that sometimes. It is a way to work something out that is not right. merry Christmas. have a nice day my friend.
