Keep Your Heads Buried

Do ostriches not watch the Capitol's public hearing? Afraid Donald's name will be sullied in the smearing? He's a black sheep that subversives keep on cheering, He's a coup conspirator everyone should be jeering. There's not much worse than a closed-minded fool who allows him/herself to be used as a political tool. Politics is as nasty as the overflow from a cesspool. Trump takes a dump and his cohorts praise his stool. Jim Jordan and other Republicans refuse to admit that Trump controls them and they just won't quit condoning his lies and alibis, and why do they do it? They're ostriches who keep shoveling his stinky s... Keep your heads buried. Sooner or later you'll see that continuing to believe his BS is a damn travesty. He's divided Americans on issues. What a tragedy! If re-elected, he'll expect to be called, "Your Majesty."

I liked Liz Cheney's warning to Republicans, "Trump will be gone, but your dishonour will remain!" Members of Congress totally disregard the needs of the nation and of their constituents to vote the Party line. A government of the Party, by the Party, and for the Party is only concerned with the here and now, with zero interest in making this land habitable for their grandchildren, so keep stirring the pot! Aloha!

Great poem Jenna! I can’t believe this guy still has a following. His words are just like a dump. The sheep believe every lie he spews. It’s really pathetic!

And still there are those who turn the REAL facts around to make a case for him. They must know about Kelly Conway's 'alternative facts.' The blind leading the blind comes to mind.

Like every civilised person I was shocked to see what happened in Washington that day. How he got voted in to the most high office in the Western world beggars belief, he must be doing irreparable damage to his party. Tom.

He started damaging the party and the country the moment he was sworn in. Still, his lemmings follow him. Maybe they'll all fall off the same cliff. The information coming to light in the hearing so far is building a case for his attempted coup. I guess the ostriches are waiting for the alternative facts. HA!

Thank you so much, Jenna, for this important poem. I couldn't agree more. Those folks who did not watch the Jan. 6 hearings aren't interested in the truth, or, they are not interested in the well-being of our democracy! I refuse to even discuss it with those who have their heads buried in the sand and their feeble minds made up! Again, Thanks, Jenna.

It's been inconceivable to me for 5 years how people can be so blind to such a plethora of the man's faults. I wrote this after reading about those Republicans who continue to support him, and in so doing they turn their backs on democracy. Thank you for supporting the truth.
