Keep the Faith

It is a church!!!
not just a building
but it stands alone.

Graffitti of the young
no realisation
of what they've done (they had fun)

It's empty of worship,
I feel the sorrow (Amen)
but I cannot let it be,
for Lord your more
than a saviour to me.

Beautiful glass windows
encaged, protection from the stone
that is cast, is christianity a thing
of the past(Lord not for me).

This is beautiful, Ann. The rhyme and imagery are wonderful. The sentiment is pure and true. Love the last line but it is all great. Thank you for your thoughtful comment and I liked your joke. My theme song is "Rockin" Robin". Happy Holidays! Love Robin

Line 10 has an error: the word 'your' should be 'you're' since it is a contraction of the words 'you are.' Hence it should read: for Lord you're more... also, 'Christianity' should be capitalized. Hope that helps, forgive me if you didn't want any help!
