Keep Patient

Keep patient: patience is a virtue.
I hope that I will never hurt you.
Let us believe together, dear,
That grace is going to be here.

Whatever is against our wishes
Can be of use to us, my precious.
We can make changes but at last
The destiny decides for us.

In case we part we can be tortured
But don't forget about the virtue.
Remember: all is not in vain.
"Keep patient" - I will say again.

Keep patient: patience is a virtue.
I hope that we will have good fortune.
Do also hope: grace will be near.
Let us be strong and humble, dear.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed New Year.

It is a pity that a successful relationship has to depend on the approval of others, Inna! If there is no other alternative, then I hope patience will prevail, but would not have to wait too long. Regards // paul

Thank you. I agree that patience is necessary to keep a successful relationship. But this poem is actually about a couple whose success in a relationship depends on their parents' approval.
