Keep It Moving

There’s no significant other
No one to say
Look at the rainbow and its colors

After a night on the town listening to the band
There are no empty bottles of wine on the night stand
Shared between a woman and her man

I forgot to stop at the stop sign
I saw it, but there was something else on my mind

Someone blew their horn with much aggravation
I kept on driving, no time for hesitation

When I got home your closet was empty and your drawers
Were too
I sat on the bed and quietly said
Damn you

I fell asleep
Then quickly awoke
I got off the bed

Remembering my dog had to be fed
