Just stay away
Keep your distance
Remain far back
Stop coming closer

For as long as your distant
You won't feel called to help
You won't want to assist me
And I won't fall into a trap again

I don't want to push others off
But they cannot come near
I am protecting my feelings

Jessica, You have written well a very important poem here. It shows what happens when life experiences go against inner beliefs. The result: pain seeks survival of soul. Saying no is important because you have worth. and that is a way to protect your soul. Sometimes it's important to think of you more than others.
