Karma

Nine months ago he was a child,
now he has one of his own.
The baby's mom has cheated twice,
but he won't leave her alone.
He thinks back on karma,
as in his head he plays
all the painful memories
and mistakes he made that day.
How could he cheat on his first love?
Now he knows its too late,
to look back on what should have been
as his guilt turns to hate.
he couldn't say he missed her so,
it would only cause her pain.
She still cries herself to sleep
just whispering his name.
Now he has to spend eternity
supporting his biggest lie,
owning up to his actions
and kissing it all goodbye.
