Listen to poem:

Karaoke Night

There's a place I(used to)go
When I was feeling low.
Weekly(closed due to covid) singing show.
Karaoke Night.
It(was) a lively place,
Smiles on every face.
Young,old,every race.
Karaoke Night.

Guys gals(would) step up to the microphone.
Sing their favorite songs for you and me.
Some were decent. Some would make you groan.
There were different levels of quality.

DO RE MI FA SO LA TI DO

DJ called my name.
I was in the game.
3 minutes of fame.
Karaoke Night.

Singing set me free.
Vocal fantasy.
Superstar was me!
Karaoke Night.

DO TI LA SO FA MI RE DO

I was feeling fine.
Drank some beer and wine.
I had a great time.
Karaoke Night.

Made alot of friends.
Stayed until the end.
I'll go back again(some day hopefully and if they don't go out of business)
KARAOKE NIGHT!!

Nice 9th place finish out of 35 in my contest! Karaoke night sounds amazing, your poem puts me right there.

What the club did for you, you Poem did for me...smiles! A grand description! Sounds like you discovered you can sing. I’m envious. Sure hope they stay in business. Bestwishes

I have never done karoke. I am ready to go now. The only thing that is holding me back is everything is closed down!
