Kandle’s Pen

Some of you are concerned so very sweet
You notice when I DON’T write poetry 

Let me assure you all is fuschia fine
Waiting on inspiration to temp my mind

Also I am still learning to play piano
It’s grueling like dueling with my soul

I’m also judging a poetry contest here
Loving your entries you’re all such a dear

I started my own thing it is my dream
My small business called Kandle Publishing

You know me by my given name at birth
But Kandle Jones my pen name I prefer

So I have my fingers in a few life pies
Sooner or later my poetry juices will arrive

Occasionally, like today, after a gruelling session with my dentist, I sat at my computer with nothing in sight until I saw Eve's contest on nursery rhymes. I just started writing and finished three stanzas in ten minutes. Karen Jones September 18, 2024 at 9:38 AM Hope you are ok after dental visit! Wow I read that poem it’s amazing you wrote it in minutes. I find if I am inspired the poem come easily. If not it is a grueling process that likely isn’t fruitful.
