Kalypso

How all has become destitute and obsolete
My everything a forever thing that I will always seek
in a finite world 
Where things are meant to break and complete
I guess we were a shot in the dark or dive in the deep
Now there's visions that see but my hands just cannot reach


See I remember 
I broke my arm on the beach, but a trick broke my heart overseas,
The difference is I felt more pain trying to keep,
Then I did when I was alone in my sleep,

Crooked ones make you cherish the real more,
There are reasons I end up right back at a door,
Some are made to build, and some are built to break,
In a world full of sin and demons in you my soul escapes,
So set me free Kalypso,
Though we were never met to be Kalypso,
Life's more meaningless, you hurt more than a wound when I bleed Kalypso,
Even though they came for you because you come to me Kalypso,
We made love memories and enemies Kalypso,
Your love is home the cure and the remedy,

So, forget the consequence Kalypso,
You run deeper than notions in my sub conscience Kalypso,
I feel you deep within me you surpass tense,
above obliquity infinite you surpass lengths,
beyond death you the rhythm if life was a sentence, 
Levitating me above all this nonsense,

They all love for prospects Kalypso,
This love transcends all physical objects Kalypso,
Its celestial a myth, it's a wish, your ...spirit in the eye of my mind when you are missed,
I tried to find you in others, but they just bent my way into an ellipse
Now I star cross your path like an infinite eclipse
This poem was supposed to be the hurt of a lover
But I guess love turned it into the love of another

Time stops and the actions reduce
I stand still it's only you that moves
You fold a tie out of the rope on my neck that they noosed
Kept respect when they projected their negative views
They may clone cells, but it will never be you
How the hell did you manage to keep it so true
All the doxing it still felt like it was just us two

And I will never turn my back if I was poly sided
Never forget the color you gave if was born blinded 
Threw out a lifeline when it felt like i was an island
I still wonder...
How on earth you timed it
I may be with others but time loops and is rewinds us
When I...
See their face of you I am reminded
 
And I mean glass can remind one of a diamond

Until it

Drops 


And shows you can replace the things that you've tossed
Guess your worth exceeds cost of your loss
