Snails race each other

Alleycats love arias

Rats ever get disgusted

The devil dreams of ice cream

Caterpillars long to fly

Mosquitoes watch vampire movies

John, I enjoyed your list. These are things I think most of us wonderful about from time to time. I particularly zeroed in on "Caterpillars long to fly," for they must and they do when they come to the butterfly stage. Quite a metaphor, I think.

There's a book ....Hope For The Flowers" (I think) that is a metaphoric masterpiece of butterfly life.....
