Just Tell Me What To Do

Just Tell Me What to Do

And, I, on a great schooner,
will sail away from you.
To another shore where
freedom is.

To be loved for exactly who
I am.
For I am full of romp and play.

Adieux, will see you some
other day.

A playful carefree write, a wish to be free of the shackles of this world and a hope and wish to find another land where with someone who understands and loves you, you will find freedom and peace - quite the philosopher you are Panagiota mou! A fa. Hugs, Jennifer.

Me? A philosopher! No!I heave that to our great Plato,Aristotle and Socrates. All of whom I studied extensively at Loyola University and many others. Actually, I am a free spirit right now and have been since age 18. I just cannot be owned.))) Good week to you. Panagiota.

Just love the premise of this poem, Panagiota… Mostly jealous though, as I was raised to say 'Yes' to everyone and to be perfectly obedient... and it got me absolutely nowhere!!

I like it as well. You and I were raised alike. At 18' I said WHOA to all and became a rebel with a cause,)) my identity and authenticity. Best thing I ever did,.... I can't breathe without my freedom. But I paid a price for it..In a positive way! PR

WOW! Your song is rhythm, Panagiota..though the message is bittersweet as life sometimes tends to be. So well written!
