Just Something To Think About
Just something to think about, when you think
About how one group of people might feel.
So, when it comes to being "on the brink,"
All i can do is keep it really real.
If you happened to be part of a group
Of people, who have been targets for years,
Then you, finally, would be in the loop,
Capable of understanding these tears.
I do not want anyone to be shot,
Despite the events that have taken place.
But we got to take, or take what we got,
Serious looks at the issue of race!
I am not giving you reasons to doubt;
Just giving you something to think about!
