despite the rain outside
despite my pain inside
despite the madness we live in
despite so much hate and sin
despite the confusion
despite the solution
despite things said and done
despite battles lost and won
despite all my wasted breath
despite how i feel
despite what is real
despite where i am
or where i'm going to
not a moment goes by
that i'm not thinking of you
