I absolutely love your tell them like it is attitude, it isn't about how long the poetry it is the meaning underneath. So well said!

Amen to that, Brian. I only have 10 fingers, so if I write long lines with meter, I have to resort to counting toes. As I said in an early poem, "Meter petered out with confined rhyme and cursed verse." "Just read" is good advice!
