Just One Poem

Not many people realize that words - have awesome power.
They can bring strength, hope, and happiness - in your darkest hour!
Just one poem can bring someone - back from the brink of suicide!
Can help someone - a better future for to decide.

Just the right words - meticulously put in place.
Can bring a smile to someone's - anxiously awaiting face!
Just one poem can truly turn - someone's day around.
Showing that peace and tranquility - really can be found!

When you take time to think - before you speak or write.
Can to someone's life bring - that shining beacon of light!
Just one poem is rushing - out to save the day.
Keeping negativity and hurtfulness - extremely far away!

The words you use - as you travel through life.
May even help other's - through their struggle's and strife!
Just one poem can - help you put on the brakes.
Avoiding misfortune - and ghastly mistakes!

Choosing words carefully - is more important than you know!
Spreading love and wisdom to others - as through this life we go!
Remember no matter how far - across this Earth you may roam.
Whatever you may be looking for - might be found in Just One Poem!!!

I count myself lucky that I grew up when words had less influence and we really got to know people through spending time with them and could look into their souls. You might like to read my poem deeds and actions too. Agree with what you say though and words in poetry form are more honest and come from the heart rather than the head.
