Just One More
If I could have just one more hour that I could spend with you
I'd tell you how great a father you were to me that's true
I'd thank you for all you've done for me in my whole life
I also thank you for your choice in choosing mom as your wife
I share with you the things that I've done since you've been gone
I'd tell you of my hopes,my dreams, my fears, where I've gone wrong
I'd hold you close and hug you tight as long as I could stand
For that is what I miss the most , I know you'd understand
I ask your opinions on my life and help with what I need
I'd try to get as much as I could before you'd have to leave
I'd beg you to watch over us your children and my mother
You were the glue that held us tight, a family unlike any other
Words could not express the joy to have you back with me
Unless someone had known the man you were for all to see.
