Give me just one
Moment,
To count each
Second to make
Each hour...
Filling each void
From all my sad
Fears..
Give me just one
Moment..
Without pain...
Without darkness..
Give me one moment
To wipe away all the
Lonely Tears..
Just give me one
Precious moment
"Please"
To wipe away all
That seems so
Wrong,
To make everything
Right...
Give me just one
Moment..
Where my heart will
Know joy..
And my soul will
Dance with 
Happiness prevail..
Cure all my woes
And  satisfy my soul

Ernie J November 2, 2011 at 10:51 AM Great! I can feel the sadness and sorrow. But, the asking for respite shows hope. The two mix together for a nice write. I was told that happiness is an inside job. I'm still looking.
