Just Once

just once id like to be the mother who,s kids want to be
just once i,d like to be treated like all the other mom,s i see
my kid,s they would get together
and instead of feeling left out
i,d feel like i fit in

just once i,d like to be the one all mom,s wish they were
the one that they would envy
why cant this just occur

i see all the other mom,s
i have to hear it year after year
i guess im just not good enough
well theres always next year
