Just Once

I look into your eyes,
Eyes that were once full of love;
But now, have turned cold.

Your mouth remains silent to me,
A mouth that once whispered;
I love you, so sincerely.

I look at your arms;
Arms that used to hold me,
so lovingly
But now stay at your sides.

I look at your hands,
I remember how they used to
touch me so gently.

I realize how much
I really miss you,
Just how deep my love
goes for you.

Just once, i wish i could look
into your heart
To see if there is even the
slightest trace still left ...
of love for me.

"I'm not going to cry, I'm not going to cry." Heart wrenching.
