Just Me

Would that I were stronger
That my wings could carry me
But oh-how feeble as I flounder
And I know I will never reach the peaks
Would that I were braver
That my heart could stand so bold
But oh-how weak I shudder
And I know I could never face the cold
Would that I were greater
Would that I were wiser
Would that I were anything more
Then who I am today
But oh-with stronger wings
And heart more stout and bold
I would not be the girl I am today
For greater is not me.

You show promise and greatness in your reflective work, Ann. Be encouraged that through trying, we can always be better and stronger. Blessings on you today! Donna
