Just Me

No one likes to feel lonely
so maybe I cling to my friends
not in a weird dependent type of way
It's just with them I always
have something to do
on those sunny days

When I'm alone at home
and my cell phone isn't ringing
it makes me feel sad like suddenly
I'm losing all life's meaning.

It isn't like before when I
was four years old and could
pretend to have an imaginary friend
now that I'm older I can't seem to
take when it's just me.

I'm so utterly bored with just me.
even though there is no one here
to pass judgment I feel like I'm wasting
away in front of the T.V. with Just me.

Loneliness seeps into my pores when it's just me.
I feel like I'm not experiencing life at all
with just me and I know that might sound crazy
but it's my reality.
One is the loneliest number
and I fear wasting away into nothing
but nothingness with just me as witness.

Immerse yourself in a book, or write! Life is never boring if you open your eyes! You are certainly not alone here, either. Love, Shar
