Just Like Yesterday

A different night, same dream as the night before I heard you say my name, seen your image at my door ~ I tried to kiss your lips, but your image faded away So I dropped to my knees and cried, just like yesterday ~ Your fragrance was in my room, smelling oh so sweet So I wiped my tears and searched, but your arms I could not reach ~ Thought I heard you say I love you, but your voice was kind of fuzzy And I couldn't see your face, staring back at me ~ But I know someday I'll find you, when I finally reach the skies For this dream that I've been having, keeps showing me how you died ~ I just wish that I could touch you, and send this dream away And hold you in my arms again, just like yesterday ________________________________________________________ {This Is Not Written About Me}
