Just Like Rubber

My character had lost shape
Just like rubber loses shape
I took whole new form
Just like rubber
I stretched to the limit
Just like rubber is stretched
Eventually I snapped
Just like rubber snaps
And bounced right back
Just like rubber
Smacked everything around me
Just like rubber
Regained the old me
Just like rubber
Steadfast
Strong
And happy
