Just Let Me Go

Just let me go

Why do you have to pretend
Is it love you intend?
No,because you love to pretend
Why do you have to hurt me
To this extend?
Please
I beg you
Just let me go

I fell in love with you
Was it the same for you?
I offered my heart to thee
But now let it free
Because you pretended
Please
I beg you
Just let me go

I promised thyself
I will love you like none else
That you treated I like everyone else
Was not what i expected from you
Just like the thoughts of everybody else
Please now
I beg you
Just let me go

I know I will get somebody
Who would not treat me like a nobody
It was obvious for everybody
That you never loved me
Please
I beg you
Just let me go

Virtually every line of your poem pleads for kindness, for the real love you'd hoped for.. expected. Tragically others can be more than cruel and hurt without guilt. Blessed be, life will bring you happy days soon... if true... and certainly inspire your heart even if not.
