Just Knowing
As I sit in this house all alone in the night
I'm so glad to have Jesus to show me the light.
For without him I'm nothing, and when in despair
I can feel his love in me as I go to him in prayer.
And while I may not get the answers that I pray
for from the start, I still add all the families left
this year with broken hearts.
And I pray for understanding of the trials I must go through,
as my mind drifts to his death on the cross,
saying "this I did for you"..
I suddenly then came to realize, it wasn't only for me but for all
he died.
And everyday he let's us know he wants us in his life, as
we read our Bible daily telling of his sacrifice.
And just knowing his love for all will never die, as
I kneel down to pray and a tear fills my eye..
Because no matter what I say or do, I know his
love for me is true.....
