Just For a Moment
Come sit down, I'll make some tea
Spend some time right here with me
I'll ease your mind from all the things
That trouble you, I'll give you wings
To fly into a moment's peace
Where all your obligations cease
I'll strum you some relaxing song
Play for short, stay for long
I'll read you some new poetry
I've written many you've yet to see
In quiet and in solitude
I write for you, set different moods
In the background here I live
Yet still to you I want to give
My heart and soul in song and word
Until each offering you've heard
