Just Enough

I like you enough to compromise for you, and make sacrifices for you if need be. Enough to miss you incredibly when we're apart, no matter what length of time it's for, and regardless of the distance. Enough to smile at the mere thought of you, or call from you at the right time. Enough to spend time with you, be there for you when you need or want me, and never, ever disrespect you or lie to you. Enough to know this is not a relationship, but a mutual agreement amongst friends, an intimate friendship. I like you this much, JUST ENOUGH, not to fall in love with you.

Ouch...I hope he/she loves you JUST ENOUGH, too...or someone could get hurt. You have written this touchy topic well. I read it as Love and marriage v.s.... well, friendship. Am I right? Love is tough to understand these years.
