Just Don'T Let Me

Can you see me? Can you hear me? Can you see my shadow reach for you as I walk by? Can you hear the loneliness quivering in my voice? Do you see the questions in my eyes? Needing you, wanting you to fill this empty soul. Please to me don't lie. Living in this home with you, that for me is made of nothing, but walls. I see you breath as you sleep and I hear you whisper when out loud you think. I see your shadow along the night's walls. Don't you know? I hear no loneliness in your talk and there is no questioning in your eyes, and I feel no needing me, nor wanting me from your soul. Is this all that is left between two promised souls? Reach for me and I will see you. Speak to me and I will share with you. Let your shadow touch mine and I will give you light, Just don't let me be lonely in our life.

Just going back to your journey's genesis. This is a very powerful heartfelt write. I certainly hope, things have changed for you. Odd, how people we love can make us feel so invisible at times. Love this moving piece, Sharon.

Thank you Daniel, so very much for stopping by to read and for commenting on this write. Yes at times a person finds themselves asking where do I stand with you? Love can be as lonely as it can be great sometimes. I believe talking to one another and sharing is the best medicine in marriage. : ) Sharon
