This poem was inspired by Jalal e Din Rumi poem COME

Birds and trees Winds and waves, These clouds This majestic dawn That fascinating moon Is Him. He who was here When you were lost Searching for him all these nights This one…That one This heat…Those beats Tears and laughs You, and I All those babies Is Him. So…come…come along Fear no suffering No death Or pain Come…my child, Just come.

Lovely poem Khalid, short and succinct. I read "If God is for me, who can stand against me?" This is a mantra I hold very dear in my heart. God Bless. D.

I have an idea whom this Him is, but I think the diction doe not do justice to the name and does not go around it successfully and as a result the poem is a failure in my humble judgment. Make some changes to the argument and make it whole and in better understanding the story you tell. Thanks, Luis Estable

Khalid: I've just finished reading all your works. I'm just a simple rhymer and your work goes beyond that to a place I often don't understand. However: There is a lovely tone in your work that makes them enjoyable even for someone like me. Keep them coming. Thanks for sharing with all of us on the soup. oldbuck

Thank you. I usually write in Arabic and translate my poems into English, that's the reason..
