Just But a Messenger

The glory is what you seek
The applause is what you dream
The acknowledgment is what you desire
You crave fame in craziness
Richness in sin
Without a care of your soul
“oh Lord put my enemies to shame
Ensure they know the God I serve
Bless me in riches more than what they can imagine
Uplift me my Father to levels even I can’t imagine.”
It’s a shame that such comes from those in Christ.
Don’t get me wrong
I haven’t said being rich is a sin
Nor being famous or in levels
But brethren He died for us so that we may live for Him
Have you ever asked Christ what He wants
Is God’s plan for you that fame
Are those riches you crave in His calendar for you
“Waaaait don’t cast stones first”
Isn’t that what you’re about to shout?
Am just but a messenger brethren
Selah

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
