Just Breathe

Come on breathe...
Pull your strength together and breathe...
Don't be too scared...
.It will sting you for a little but that's it...
You won't feel any pain anymore...
Come on just close your eyes and don't resist....
Just let go of your last breath...
It's too late now to try to do anything...
So don't be afraid, don't be a coward , just face it...
It's coming slowly for you , to take your tender soul so gently...
So come on give up , don't fight death , you know it's stronger....

Dalia, this is a perfect entry for BW contest, best of luck to you!! My fav lines: "It's coming slowly for you , to take your tender soul so gently...So come on give up , don't fight death , you know it's stronger...." Stated perfectly and your flow is beautiful...-luloo *smiles*

- This touches me deeply, Dalia - The words are almost the same as I whispered to my mother when she died - It is painful to let go... but sometimes the best ( a 7 + fav.) - Best wishes for the weekend - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

It's one of those pieces that leaves me with an internal "Ooohhh..." commentary. Fantastic use of prose language Dalia. The emotionless face of death, I can feel it in this.

Wonderful and insightful poem of the acceptance of what we ALL must face sometime Dalia...My wife died unexpectedly yet peacefully in her sleep. At her funeral, her best friend said of her, 'She always knew how to do things right. She even knew how to die right'...Amen - Tim

the is no Life within the flesh....within the Soul is where it manifests....because Life Is The Eternal Blessing....that's the truth, not fond of guessing....and I am guessing that when we grieve....we should celebrate because at last the Soul Can TRULY, FINALLY Breath....Love it dalia....;)

You look at approaching death with calm and resignation, Dalia. For those who believe in an afterlife, death can be better accepted. ~ Regards & hugs // paul

Death is not as strong as my heart Dalia...thats what this neat write means for me...I sense that you wrote this as a challenge to honor, to provoke hearts to be brave...I like it! J.A.B.

Yes let go cross the great abyss, the last breath can be offered bliss, adventure looms there in the mist, spirit regeneration time, your soaring spirit climbs, rhapsody delish, earthly woes decline, eternal will of wisp. Phantasm a flying.

A totally different and interesting approach to death as described by your compassionate heart, and brought to life by your poetic skills. This is very beautiful and so well penned. Emile. #7
