Just Born Jelly Beans

Never saw them sold where I live
get em from Amazon, probably overpay
but they are the taste of joy
grab a handful and shove those little jelly beans in my mouth
munch on all the colors combining into a burst of fruit flavor
they are soft and chewy as if they just were made that day
goodness and delightful, shouldn't eat them but got to live
it's okay once in a while. A1c is 7 now, need it in the 6 range
God Bless these people who make wonderful things for
the world to enjoy, something so simple and sugary
yet happiness with every chew
Just Born jelly beans when you shouldn't treat yourself
but the smile on your face glad you did.
I bet there are no calories in heaven.
