Just Being Honest

Just Being Honest

Just being honest, I thought I’d share
Before I saw you I felt your presence
It’s like that when two hearts beat real
Just like knowing someone is watching
Then you turn around and smile
Because I felt your spirit,
You made my spirit smile
Just being honest, I thought you should know
That even in a distance, on the other side of a room
I felt your heart beating, it pumps mine
Like being connected to life support
Or in the rain without an umbrella
Laughing uncontrollable, doesn’t matter
Because I saw you and we saw us
All was good, just being honest!
