Just Before Release
Don't throw a blow with clouded mind
for all things done have no rewind.
Breath in to take your time to think;
In breathing out, the tensions sink.
Fit of passion is dangerous;
It is so thoughtless and perilous.
Don't waste your life in just a blink
if you can have a time to think.
For intent is murderous;
Just like the wind, it's treacherous.
Don't let "mens rea" dictate your action;
Let your heartbeat sink before any motion.
It doesn't matter if it's involuntary;
If there is harm, there is liability.
In negligence, intent is immaterial;
Damage done makes the act critical.
