Notes About The Poem

I wrote this after almost sharing a post that stated that Obama had signed an order banning the pledge of allegiance for any federally related/funded facilities. I had also started a poem condemning same. My wife convinced me I should see if it was true before proceeding....I'm so glad I did or this poem would be about me. Please change if it's about you. We have enough liars just in Washington

Just Because It's On the Internet

Just Because it's on the Internet

Just because it's on the internet
Doesn't mean it's always true
Be careful what you post and share
Your integrity is you

Some things you see are how you feel
That's why they're put there by some nut
If you repeat them without checking
Please get your head out of your butt

Don't repeat the social media
It has liars of some fame
To pass along another's lie
Makes you a liar all the same
