Just Because Im White

Just because I'm white
Doesn't mean I am nerdy
Doesn't mean I get straight A’s
And doesn't mean I wear glasses

Just because I’m white
Doesn't mean I’m always angry
Doesn't mean I like mayonnaise
Doesn't mean I don’t like rap

Just because I’m white
Doesn't mean I can’t dance
Doesn't mean I can’t talk to girls
Doesn't mean I’m rich

Just because I’m white
Why can’t we all just stop judging?
Aren’t we all one in the same?
Why do people stereotype?
We are all on the earth
So why can’t we live as one?

A warm welcome to PoetrySoup I offer to you Troy. I wish for you the best in your writing endeavors whatever they may be. May you find inspiration by reading some of the poetry written here by other poets. Read and comment on their's and they will return in kind. May the sun shine on you that you might find great joy in your life. Love and blessing always, Carol
