Just Because
Just because I started with the salad station
Does not mean
I didn’t grab the baked ziti
Or ignored the grilled corn.
Just because I rejected the cookie
does not mean
I reject the entire dessert tray.
I did in fact grab some brownies.
Just because I choose the buffet
Does not mean
I reject the fast food bouquet
I might want French fries tomorrow at lunch.
Just because I am not an A
Does not mean
I am in fact a Z,
But I could be middle man M.
