Just Because
Just because we have to be apart now,
Does not mean that her looks and taste aren’t clear,
Just because for now I cannot touch her,
Does not mean that sensations are not here.
Just because she cannot feel me touching,
Doesn’t mean we both can’t reminisce,
Just because it’s in imagination,
Doesn’t mean I cannot taste her kiss.
Just because to hold her is forbidden,
It doesn’t take away how her skin feels,
Just because my words replace my body,
Does not mean that hers any less appeals.
Just because her hair for now I can’t touch
Does not mean I’ve forgotten how to stroke,
Just because it’s been too long without her,
Does not make me a less enchanted bloke.
Just because I can’t reveal her body,
Does not mean I can’t recall each contour,
Just because we’re looking to the future,
Brings hope it’s even better than before.
Just because my feelings haven’t altered,
I hope when we’re allowed she will respond,
Just because she’s sensual and precious,
I want her right now,
Where’s my magic wand?
