Just Be You

The world is such a big place,
For such a little one,
Unfamiliar and unforgiving,
For a girl so naive an young.

Unfamiliarity sires awareness,
As you sojourn through the years,
That were paved with much happiness,
And gladly, only a few tears,

Many have tried to shape you,
And some you never knew,
The only person you should emulate,
Is the person you turned into.
