Just At the Door

I always knew I was going to be a man so great, I saw it coming but I didn’t know It was going to be this late, I put in a lot of effort and ran tediously like it was a relay; No regrets though; because I learnt a lot despite all the delays… If only I knew tomorrow, I'd live today like my last Happily, I'll make every moment a blast; I see nowadays how the youths only want to make it fast, Alot of people are already suffering because of their mistakes in the past... I was told we live in a terrible world, A world compassed about with so much pressure... So, I decided that I must overcome this world But not allowing my past errors to reoccur... Everyday I keep asking myself 'what is the next step', Eyes in the skies; while looking for my next help Our girls are so unsafe; we keep hearing of rape, Even if you want to run, there's no way to escape. Just a moment when you think that things has taken shape, Enemies will come trying to offer you suggestive ways... Death they say is no respecter of no-one Isn't it weird to know that if someone dies, you'll see them no more Often times, I wonder why we were created in the first place, Afterall, we'll die someday leaving a lot of space... Were we born fools, or were we born knowing all? Are we growing wiser, or we just growing tall? Is it true that one dies only to be born again? If so, permit me to ask...what then is our own gain?
