Premiere Contest WinnerJust As A Butterfly

Just as a butterfly
     Knows its worldly meadow
          And lands on springtime buds
Leaving special footprints~

Mothers teach their children
    With true love-filled knowledge
          Shaping their existence
As bearers of new life

Congratulations on your trophy win, Sandra. From the evocative title to the imaginative treatment of the universal idealised mother archetype, it was a feast to read. The butterfly motif is a strong symbolic choice that makes the piece feel timeless rather than personal. ~Su
