Just Another One About You
No I am not afraid to fall
No I am not afraid to endure
as long as its for a dream
grew up reading fairytales
grew to see self the girl in the dress
waiting for her shining armor
somewhat waited for someone to come sweep me off my feet
someone who made me feel like that girl
who ran from home and to her happily ever after
but being grown birthed a different reality
a new perception
molded by a love lost,
missed dates and
not so sweet kisses
the forgotten I love you's
Darling, naive me
the she who saw beauty never its pain
had to live through it to somewhat be it
her, the she you think about never
the she you missed Bonnie
the she who now writes poems to let go of pieces of you
what you once thought of me,
at least in words and me believed
Sweet someone
I still look out for that west star in hopes you someday you do too
and the magic that once was we would somewhat have you think of me
that we gaze at it one second to past time
that in spirit we meet and to souls be we again be
although things change,
they need change
mysteries of our love story lay to rest
day by day -
you fade away
and we, be forgotten
