Just Another Day of Normal Life
heavenly father, i need a creamsicle
i need a side order of bon bons
oh, and throw a nutty buddy in there too
like a lot of people i know, i live to work
i would love to turn that around, but i just don't have the means
knowing this, i brave the humidity and especially the cold
i look around for any sneaky deer, and then i plop into my car
i start it up and exhale heavily....and that will not be the first time today....
....for this is MY monday....
heavenly father, i need a dr. pepper
i need a side order of dr. pepper
oh, and throw a dr. pepper in there too
you see, i do not go insane while punching the clock to enter repetitionville
i am humbled everyday by what i see, what i hear, and what i read
i just wave at the members of the Similarity Club and do what i am paid to do
when bills come, they are handled accordingly based on the state of my financial situation
sometimes, heavenly father, i need to pray to you with something stronger than a dr. pepper in my hand
heavenly father, i need a lottery ticket
i need a side order of PCH
oh, and throw some scratch-offs in there too
in a world where everybody has that WISH,
i drink the well water of monotony's toejam
continuation is the anvil chainsaw to the nucleus of my brain
as a result, instead of going absolutely nuts, blaming the government and killing somebody or anybody,
I DECIDED TO WRITE A DOGGONE POEM.....NOW HOW ABOUT THAT!
