Just Another Day

How many cigarettes do you need to smoke until the stress evaporates
How high must you get until you are able to cut all the weeds strangling your emotions
How many drinks until you start relying on yourself to feel good
I need to take out the trash
Trying to build up my savings but I keep pulling from my stash
Life is a joke you think you have it figured out then it just laughs
You think you're ready to go but always leaving something back in the house
It's hard to see through a wall of concrete negativity
Some days I rather be blind
p.s. this way I wouldn't be able to see my cynical reality...
