Just a Dream

A canvas so vast it was make believe,
We had to cast up the mast to set out to sea.
The wind in our hair and the ocean at our feet
Who would have thought we ever meet?
In this wonderful land of blue and green,
What a place seen only in a dream.

But we Laughed and Smile as we set out to sea.
Not a worry in us as this was meant to be.
We sold everything we had to make this be,
A wonderful adventure for everyone to see.
Our heads held up high, here we go.

As I was awoken to find,
This was all just a dream.

Don't you hate it when that happens? Sometimes we have the most realistic and joyfull dreams, it's dissapointing when they end. Well written poem, good job
